Buty formalne to takie, które zakładamy na uroczystości dużej wagi: weddings, funerals, important conferences or official dinners. Below are the features that a formal shoe should have.
What features a shoe must have to be considered formal:
1. The only formal shoe is an oxford, i.e. a shoe with a closed vamp, colloquially speaking, or closed quarters - professionally.
2. Shoes should have minimal or no decorations. Therefore, we consider only cap-toe oxfords (with stitching on the toe) or plain shoes as formal, as well as aviators, i.e. shoes made of one piece of leather.
3. Shoes should have a leather sole. Unfortunately, the rubber sole is not considered formal, but casual or smart casual.
4. Classic cut - strange shoes, e.g. with raised or sharply cut toes, are not formal. We definitely recommend choosing classic, elegant hooves
5. Color - the most formal shoes are, of course, black. Brown can also be considered formal - however, they should not be worn in the evenings or for funerals.
6. Leather type - only grain, polished or patent calf leather. Shoes made of other leathers (suede, pea) have a lower degree of formality.
